Expo 1935 – Brussels
The entrance hall of this Czechoslovak pavilion was 11m high and was used as the entrance to the lower section of the pavilion with a gallery around a glazed grass-covered yard. There were no windows in the exterior walls but the light was let in through the "lantern" windows in combination with saw-shaped roofs.
As the pavilion was a temporary structure which had to be cleared after the exhibition with restoration of the original condition of the site most of the building structure was made of timber.
