Expo 1933 – Chicago
Unlike the previous exhibition, the organisers of this one decided not to refer to historic shapes, but to express the modern time and outline future architectural development. This concept was also implemented by the pavilion by Kamil Roškot with its generous scale and large glazed walls.
One of the greatest attractions of this exhibition was represented by the astounding German Zeppelin airships, at the same time reminding of the unpleasant fact of Adolph Hitler having taken power in Germany.
